Akon is a man of his word, when first mentioned creating a futuristic city in 2018. Fast forward just 2 years later and Akon officially has his own city in Senegal, Africa. The deal was solidified just yesterday and Akon posted the agreement via instagram (see below). Akon says construction has already begun and the city should be completed in 10 years.
